Kelly Edreich

Kelly has been working at Amherst Montessori School since May 2015. She began her current position as the Interim Head of School in November of 2020, and is so excited to serve the school in this new capacity. After graduating high school, she joined the Air Force, where she spent two years in England, as well as spent time in Egypt, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia on various deployments. In addition to traveling around the world, Kelly lived in California, New Mexico, Nevada, and Texas before settling down in New England.
Passionate about supporting non-profits, Kelly uses her varied experiences to serve the members of our community and our school mission. Her past work experiences include helping a start-up company establish their operations and accounting practices, as well as working as a financial liaison between a government contractor and military base in New Mexico.
As a member of the AMS community, Kelly values consistency, transparency, and doing everything she can to support the families, children, and staff members she works with. She loves to creatively problem solve, which translates well into her work as the Interim Head of School.
Kelly currently lives in Belchertown with her two sons and two dogs. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, reading, traveling with her boys, taking road trips, caring for animals, running, and cooking.
