Referral Incentive Program
We know that the single most effective way of attracting more students to AMS is through referral by satisfied families. The Referral Incentive Program rewards community efforts to bring more families to Amherst Montessori School.
Purpose:
The purposes of the Referral Incentive Program are:
- To increase enrollment by rewarding those in our community who help identify other families who may be a good fit at AMS
- To reach out to AMS supporters and strengthen relationships
- To raise our profile in the greater Amherst area
Requirements:
For each student (one per family) referred to AMS, the person who referred the student will receive an incentive payment once that student has enrolled, attended school, and paid for three months of tuition. In order to be eligible for this incentive payment, all of the following must occur:
- The student must be enrolling for the 2020-21 school year.
- The referring person’s name must be listed on the student’s Application for Admission in answer to the question “How did you learn about Amherst Montessori School?”
- The student must be new to AMS, sign an enrollment contract and make the enrollment deposit, attend school for three months, and make three months of tuition payments.
The referral source must be:
- A current employee
- A parent of a current student
- Former parents and alumni
Incentive Payments:
A one-time incentive payment will be awarded to the referring person* as follows:
- To current parents: $500 tuition discount per family referred
- To AMS employees: $500 check per family referred
- To former parents and alumni: $500 check per family referred
* If more than one person is named on the student’s Application for Admission, the incentive payment will be divided equally among each named referring person.
