Parent Association

DSCF1963The AMS Parent Association builds community and parent engagement through the coordination and organization of events, fundraisers, and special projects, like our school composting initiative, our school library, and more.

The Parent Association traditionally takes the lead on several events through the year including the Ice Cream Social during the first week of school, and the Spring Celebration in April.  The Parent Association meets before Grounds Days, and as needed in sub-committees. This year, the Parent Association has multiple sub-committees to work on the following initiatives:

  • Social Committee
  • Teacher Appreciation Committee
  • Pollinator Garden Committee
  • Fundraising/Development Committee
  • Library Committee
  • Spring Celebration Committee

If you are a parent at Amherst Montessori, you are considered part of the Parent Association! Parent Association meetings offer childcare, coffee, and refreshments, and are open to all parents and guardians. Contact Gaby Kennedy Costa and Jennifer Dann PA Co-Chairs, via ParentSquare to learn about participating.
